และบรรดาผู้ที่กล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา ขอพระองค์ทรงปัดเป่าการลงโทษของนรกให้พ้นไปจากเรา แท้จริงการลงโทษของมันนั้นมันคงอยู่ตลอดกาล
And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering;
และแท้จริง นางได้ตั้งใจมั่นในตัวเขาและเขาก็ตั้งใจในตัวนาง หากเขาไม่เห็นหลักฐานแห่งพระเจ้าของเขา เช่นนั้นแหละเพื่อเราจะให้ความชั่วและการลามห่างไกลจากเขา แท้จริงเขาคือคนหนึ่งในปวงบ่าวของเราที่สุจริต
And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her had he not seen the proof of his Lord. And thus [it was] that We should avert from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants.
